Designed to be an elite model for users looking to stand out in a crowd, the Nokia 7270 is sure to attract attention wherever it is used. The Nokia 7270 is a full-size clamshell phone similar in size to the Motorola V600. Smaller than many previous popular models like the Nokia 7200 or the Motorola V300/V500, the Nokia 7270 is Nokia's first flip phone with a reinforced hinge designed to take the abuse that many modern flip phones just cannot handle.
Using a unique design the reinforced hinge can be held in any position unlike the open/close position choice that previous flip phones are limited to. The Nokia is the first in a unique series of phones from Nokia that utilizes an asymmetric form with one rounded corner.
Considered an improvement over the S-shape used with the 7600 and 7610 models, the phone is almost rectangular with slightly rounded corners. The Nokia 7270 has cleverly concealed corner mounting holes that allow the user to install decorative panels that use innovative panel pins to hold the panel in place.
